"other things may change us, but we start and end with family"

i'm a big copycat of rachael and chris. here in this blog lies my dreams, my fantasies, and things i want to fulfill before my life is over. while some may sound familiar, they are and always have been my dreams too.

-I want to marry only once. I don't believe in divorce and never have.
-I want (and have) a man who will provide and who will run my household as the leader of our family. a man who is financially stable and willing to give his all for his family. who will raise my children the way i want them to be raised. to raise them as strong, unique individuals who have the power and ability to do anything they set their minds to. (i'm just lucky enough to have found that in a man :)
-I want four children. two boys two girls. one girl and one boy to be biologically mine and the other two to be adopted.
-I want my children involved in as many extra curriculars as possible. I will involve them in as much as I can and then they can decide what they like to do.
-I want them to try their hardest in school and hopefully succeed. If they do not succeed, at least I know they tried.
-I want my husband and I to be there for our children no matter what. Always willing to be able to help out with homework and any other problems that may arise.
-I want both me and my husband to be off of work on Sundays. I want this to be a day to go to church, go to grandma's, play outside, relax, and spend valuable time with our children...and watch football :)
-Also, I want Fridays nights (until the children are "too cool") to be family nights; order pizza, play monopoly or life, and watch movies. i looked forward to this night as a kid, and i want my kids to feel the same.
-I want a reasonably sized house.
-I want one wall made completely of huge windows.
-A chandelier above the dining room table.
-the antique kind, not the new modern kind
-I want a library. A big one, like the kind one in Beauty and the Beast
-Paintings hanging all around the house. Jackson Pollocks to be precise.
-I want a big backyard with a pond and lots of trees. One tree being big enough
to hold a tire swing. Also, I want a big swingset equipped with a slide.
-A 2 car garage would be nice.
-I want a fireplace and a large living room so my family can play games.
-I want a his and hers bathroom with a large tub that isn't already built in.
-like a white, porcelain tub.

I want:
-to visit every state in the United States.
-to gamble in Las Vegas.
-to take a cruise around Australia (honeymoon)
-a big wedding. White dress, lots of invites, chicken or fish, white tablecloths, October, a flowery archway...the whole enchilada.
-Morgan Bolduc to be my maid of honor.
-to bungee jump, sky dive, and rock climb.
-to own my own restaurant...but i can't cook.
-to plant a tree.
-to win the lottery.
-to see the world.
-to go on a missions trip or some kind of trip where i can give to children in other countries.
-to shake the hands of J.D. Salinger, William Faulkner, Nathaniel Hawthorne, J.K. Rowling, James Patterson, and Stephenie Myer.
-to write a novel.
-to learn to paint and paint a masterpiece.
