this is love...this is love to me now.
it's when my sweet, baby kitten runs to me and clings onto my leg the second i walk through the door.
it's the tear in my mother's eye and her smile when i tell her that i'm getting married.
it's the way aidan holds his arms out to me when he's all upset and crying, because all he needs is a hug.
it's the way my brother thinks i'm the coolest kid on earth, even though i'm definitely not.
it's the random texts i get from my little sister saying she misses me and hopes to see me soon.
it's the light in a friend's eyes when they see me after a long absence and can't wait to catch up on all the missed action.
it's when my best friend supports me in everything i do, even though she may not like it, but she realizes that i am happy and i am making wise decisions.
it's the way i can tell those closest to me the real deal without being afraid of facing judgement.
it's the way that the smell of chicken can always put me in a good mood.
it's how i can't wait to stuff my Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes.
it's knowing that even though i cannot afford Christmas presents this year, you understand.
it's the way that justin can make me feel like everything in life is perfect, when i know it's not.
it's how even though we live together, seeing him is always the highlight of my day and i can't stand being apart from him.
it's the way my "mother-in-law" and "sister-in-law" call just to make sure i'm okay and love getting together for lunch dates.
it's the way that my family has grown...by making new friends and new "family members".
love happens. it happens in so so many ways every day. these are just a few vague ways that love is happening to me presently. “The most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love, and to let it come in.”
